1week to go

It feels like my prep is taking longer than the actual trip. Funny how that happens. Trying to pack light but with two countries with different weather and cultures.. I'm challenged. Guess I need to let go if it.
A friend asked me what am I looking forward to the most. I guess how I would frame that would be ...what are my hopes for this trip
I am hoping to be more closely connected in my relationship to God through the people I journey with and the places I experience. I hope that I will be wholly open and present to the experiences that are before me. I know that I am gifted by this journey and I hope I am able to share it with others upon my return

Two weeks + to go

After months and months of anticipation, the trip is approaching. Not sure I am ready at all.... think there is so much I should be doing to prepare for this amazing journey. I guess I'll just turn it over....
